Programme

• The 3^rd monthly meeting of TN & PY chapter of IRIA, hosted by the Pondicherry subchapter was conducted in the forenoon of 10^th April 2020 at JIPMER, Pondicherry. The topic for the meeting was Breast Imaging and Interventions.
• The 3^rd monthly meeting of TN & PY chapter of IRIA, hosted by the Pondicherry subchapter was conducted in the forenoon of 10^th April 2020 at JIPMER, Pondicherry. The topic for the meeting was Breast Imaging and Interventions.
• The meet started with PG presentations. Out of 12 abstracts received, 8 best papers were shortlisted and all of them were on Breast Imaging. Three Best papers were selected by judges for cash prize and certificate
• This was followed by a brief Inaugural function. Dr. Bagyam Raghavan, President Breast Imaging Society, India, Dr. Shyamkumar N K, President of TN&PY IRIA and Dr. L Muralikrishna, Secretary of TN& PY IRIA graced the occasion along with Dr. Nadaradjan President, Pondicherry Subchapter of TN& PY IRIA, Dr. Umamageswari, Secretary of Pondicherry subchapter of TN&PY IRIA and Dr. Sunitha V C, HOD of the Department of Radiodiagnosis, JIPMER.
• Following the inauguration, there were enlightening lectures on Asymmetrical densities on mammogram by Dr. Bagyam Raghavan and Case based discussions in MR mammogram by Dr. Geethapriya.
• The high noon culminated with the spotlight of the show, Live demonstration followed by hands-on workshop on USG guided biopsy, clip placement and wire localization by faculties Dr. Bagyam Raghavan, Dr. Samundeswari, and Dr. Sunitha VC.
